Developing on a scale of approximately 5,800m², the project comprises a 15-story block with 449 units, promising to provide accommodation for over 1,100 residents. However, for OasisConcept, this is not merely about laying the first bricks for a 15-story building. It is the beginning of a journey "Beyond the Concrete Block," where we redefine social housing not as cramped "machines for living," but as a "Vertical Village" that respects both people and nature.
1. Breaking Prejudices: From "Shelter" to "Livable Oasis"
The greatest challenge of social housing lies not in cost, but in mindset. For decades, we have often accepted a trade-off between "low cost" and "quality of life." In this project, OasisConcept offers a different solution: "Democratizing Luxury."
Based on the philosophy of Anne Lacaton & Jean-Philippe Vassal – "Luxury is not about expensive materials, it's about the generosity of space, light, and views" – the design of Phu Cuong Vinh Long ensures that 100% of the apartments possess expansive river views (Co Chien River and Cai Cam River). This is a privilege usually found only in high-end projects, which has now become the standard for all 449 units here.
2. "Bioclimatic Sculpting" Architecture
Instead of a closed box, the building is shaped into a unique U-form. This is not a random aesthetic choice, but the result of a process of "Bioclimatic Sculpting":
- Natural Wind Trap: The building mass opens to the North to fully capture cool breezes from the Co Chien River, guiding fresh air into every corridor and apartment.
- Thermal Buffer: Technical cores and circulation corridors are cleverly positioned on the West face, acting as an insulation buffer to protect living spaces from the harsh tropical sun.
3. "The Healing Loop" – Beyond Standard Amenities
What makes Phu Cuong Vinh Long distinct is its amenity system, designed as a vertical "Healing Loop." OasisConcept believes that physical and mental health are universal rights. Therefore, residents here will enjoy a closed-loop ecosystem of amenities rarely seen in this segment:
